E-Commerce Sales Assistant
Calico Guitarworks Inc. is interested in hiring an E-Commerce Sales Assistant for part-time work on premises.
Flexible schedule, 3-4 days per week, with individual shifts not lasting more that 3-5 hours. The total expected commitment is between 10-20 hours per week.
The starting wage is $15hr.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with e-commerce platforms to accurately process online orders and returns.
- Answer customer service questions that are received via email and platform specific messenger applications.
- Receive product shipments and organize inventory
- Assist with the creation of advertising and social media content.
- Assistance with essential shop tasks such as cleaning and organization.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Mac OS operating system.
- Basic photo and video editing skills
- Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Reverb, eBay, Facebook, Instagram, etc. are a plus
- Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to monitor multiple tasks at the same time
- Must have drivers license and transportation.

Guitar Technician
Calico Guitarworks Inc. is interested in hiring an experienced Guitar Technician for part-time work on premises. This is a paid position, not an apprenticeship.
The schedule may be a flexible 2-3 days per week, with the opportunity for further hours once familiar with the shop’s standards and protocols.
Compensation will be based on the applicants experience level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guitar setup and repair work in fitting with the applicant’s abilities. (Proficiency in skills such as fretwork, nut/saddle making, basic electronics, etc. are required)
- Occasional assistance with essential shop tasks, including but not limited to: customer service, shipping and receiving, general cleaning, managing of social media and online marketplace content.
Job Requirements:
- Luthierie school or equivalent prior experience with fretted instrument setup/repair
- Familiarity in working with hand and power tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to monitor multiple tasks at the same time
- Must have drivers license and transportation.
