After over a decade and half of expertly repairing and maintaining instruments for musicians across the region, Calico Guitarworks is taking the next step—bringing handcrafted, original electric and acoustic guitars to life under its own brand. Calico Guitarworks has built a loyal following for its precision repairs and commitment to tone and playability. With this expansion, the team aim to bring that same obsessive attention to detail and craftsmanship to their own creations, offering electric and acoustic models designed and built entirely in-house.
Repairing thousands of guitars has given us a deep understanding of what players want—and what instruments need to perform their best. Now we’re taking everything we’ve learned and using it to build guitars that are as inspiring to play as they are beautiful to look at.
Parlor Guitar
The Calico Guitarworks Parlor Acoustic Guitar boasts a compact parlor shape with a 12.75” lower bout and a 24.75” scale length. Its top is made from Sitka Spruce, complemented by a rich Mahogany body and neck featuring a diamond volute for classic style and added durability. The rosewood fingerboard has a 16″ radius and 19 frets, supported by a dual-action truss rod for precise neck adjustment. Equipped with Grover V97-18 tuners and a 1-3/4″ Corian nut, it ensures stable tuning.
Finished with hard wax oil, this lightweight guitar includes a TKL Premier Series case for secure transport.

Its body is made from American Sycamore and a premium Adirondack Spruce top, with elegant Black Walnut accents for the binding and pickguard. The design includes an arm bevel for comfort and a scooped cutaway for easy access.
The Sapele neck is highlighted by an American Sycamore overlay with our logo laser etched into it. Our signature asymmetric headstock shape is further accented with a layered Ebony/Maple headstock underlay underneath. It is rounded out with an Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets, a dual-action truss rod, Kluson Prestige tuners, and a Corian nut and saddle. Finished in hard wax oil and includes a hardshell case to protect your investment.
